You can post-pay for Hungarian toll with your MOL Group Gold Card.
MOL Group Cards offers also post-payment possibility to cover your HU-GO (Hungarian) TOLL costs (for 3,5t< vehicles).
MOL Group and I-Cell strategic partnership
MOL Group has a strategic partnership with i-Cell. With i-Cell’s contribution and know-how MOL Group proudly introduces among the services offered by MOL Group fuel cards the post payment solution in relation to the toll-payment in the HU-GO electronic toll system. This solution is available for all 20 HUGO TOLL operator from 2024. Jan 1.
I-Cell was founded as telematics provider, and since then it has been the most innovative Hungarian-owned company in telematics (icell.hu/en). They mainly provide fleet tracking services for commercial vehicles, but they have also developed the truck toll system (HU-GO).
HU-GO Toll Post-payment
By choosing HU-GO post-payment option with MOL Group Cards…
- You can pay later the Hungarian toll consumption - no longer must top up / transfer the necessary toll amount in advance
- You can reduce the risk of penalties - don’t have to worry about running out of money on your account
To apply for the HU-GO Toll Post-payment solution 3 pre-conditions is required to fulfill:
- You need to accept the HUGO TOLL Terms and Conditions on OCC
Needs to have HUGO OBU purchased from any of the 20 Toll Domain Operator or If you are a MOL Fuel Card client, MOL is delighted to provide you an i-Cell OBU at a reasonable price. - Company need to be registered and have an account at Hungarian National TOLL Provider (NUSZ) or can have Post pay toll NUSZ registration via MOL.

HU-GO Post-payment process description
- Client needs to sign MOL Group Cards contract (if doesn't have it)
- Enter the OCC interface (Online Card Center) and activate the service
- In case you need i-Cell On-board Unit (OBU S550) please contact us
I-Cell OBU installation and usage
After receiving the OBU following steps need to be taken to ensure safe toll payment:
- Register your OBU S550 (I-Cell OBU) in HU-GO system
- Install properly your OBU device in your vehicle (3,5 t<) - plug in or cable connection
- If you have any questions, call +36 1 510 0548 immediately (i-CELL)!
VAT on toll
Hungarian toll fee includes VAT. You can find our VAT refund solutions that can decrease your costs here.
Tax relevant document
If you pay your Hungarian toll via MOL Group Gold Cards, you will receive your company's tax relevant document from MOL.
Invoicing period
The toll fee paid by MOL Gold Cards will be invoiced with the same frequency as your fuel purchases, according to your individual contract, included in the same invoice package.
