Slovakia

You can pay for Slovak toll with your MOL Group Gold Card or INA Standard Card.

Vehicles up to 3,5 tons need an e-vignette. Toll payment by means of the electronic tolling system is obligatory for motor vehicles designed for goods transportation with total weight exceeding 3.5 tons and motor vehicles for transport of more than 9 persons including the driver.

Fuel cards are simplification and a greater degree of comfort in using the toll system in Slovakia, with the possibility of using the OBU of SkyToll. Further information about the Slovakian toll payment obligations can be found on www.emyto.sk website.

Changes in the Slovak toll are expected during 2024. In addition to the National Toll Collection Provider (SkyToll, a.s.), the EETS Provider, with whom the customer has a contract, will be able to collect tolls.

Solution trhough OBU of National Toll Collection Provider (SkyToll)

Toll payment is possible in 2 ways:
  • Post-paid mode: if your vehicles travel regularly and frequently use the chargeable Slovak roads, your perfect solution for toll payment should be the post-paid mode. First the Road Usage Contract and an OBU Provision Contract has to be concluded. The Contract on the Use of Specified Road Sections under the post-paid toll regime may be made by the vehicle operator or its authorised representative - our sales representative can support you in this. Contract on the Use of Specified Road Sections under the post-paid toll regime may be made for several registered vehicles. The amount of paid toll fee is unlimited, aligned with the credit limit and card limits set for your card.

Pre-paid mode is the best for those trips when you plan your route in advance. First the Road Usage Contract and an OBU Provision Contract has to be concluded. The Contract on the Use of Specified Road Sections under the pre-paid toll regime may be made by the vehicle operator, its authorised representative and/or vehicle driver, at any contact or distribution point.

Second, an on-board unit (OBU) has to be obtained. For the OBU, a deposit of 50 EUR has to be paid. The deposit can be paid by cash or bank card only and it is refunded when the OBU is returned. Top-up of the OBU is possible via MOL Group Cards on all toll distribution points.
