INFORMATION ON THE TOLL SERVICE BULGARIA-BGRIA

Distance-base tolls system was introduced in Bulgaria in March 2020.

The use of motorways and some 1st - 3rd class roads is subject to toll charges for vehicles in Bulgaria as well as crossing some bridges and transport vehicles using the ferry. Toll is collected for road vehicles for the carriage of goods or passengers of a total technical permissible maximum mass exceeding 3.5t by the satellite-based toll system (GNSS).

Service specific changeable parameters
In the toll service Bulgaria (BGria) the driver has to update the following parameters on the OBU according actual state:

• Trailer axles

Pre-paid:

The customer should go to the dedicated section on tollpass.bg/en/routepass/wizard .

The ROUTE PASS can be purchased directly on the site by both registered and unregistered users.

• Enter the data of the vehicle for which you want to make the pre-payment of the toll in Bulgaria (license plate, nationality, weight, pollution class)
• Declare whether it transports perishable or dangerous goods
• Enter the beginning of the journey and the route (ROUTE)
• Pay by credit card

The downside of this solution is that the customer would be using credit or bank card and not MSTS (MOL) card.
Rates are based on emission class, number of axles, gross weight, route selected, start date and time of validity.

VAT on toll

Bulgarian toll fee in/excludes VAT.

Invoicing period

The toll fee paid by MOL Gold Card will be invoiced with the same frequency as your fuel purchases, according to your individual contract, included in the same invoice.
