When driving on the Belgian roads you will need an on-board unit with satellite-based operation. The OBU which is connected to your Eurotoll card detects the exact position of the vehicle and records the distance taken. The settlement will be calcuated based on the
- distance measured by your OBU
- the EURO emission standard of your vehicle
- the weight of your vehicle.
VAT on toll
Belgian toll fee does not include VAT, only Wallonia has VAT.
Tax relevant document
If you choose MOL Group Cards partner Eurotoll to pay the Belgian toll, you will receive your company's tax relevant document from Satellic NV. Eurotoll will issue a statement of account to you.
Invoicing period
The toll fee paid via Eurotoll will be invoiced monthly.
